Riesling – Wine in 10

The topic of this episode is the greatest German and some would say the greatest white grape variety in the world: Riesling.

The amazing thing about Riesling is that it can produce a huge variety of wine styles at high levels: It can produce great dry or sweet wines, still wines or sparkling wines, it can be beautiful but it can age for a long time. There are very few grape varieties who can do this: Chenin Blanc and maybe Furmint come to mind.
